How You'll Perform The Role Tasks and responsibilities
- Carry out corporate requests in terms of health and safety at work;
- Advise the company on ways to better manage and reduce risks;
- Ensure the application of all health and safety measures throughout the installation;
- Perform audits and propose improvements to the company's health and safety programs;
- Perform training, OHS integrations;
- Coordinate plant and office health and safety activities;
- Work with various regulatory bodies to ensure that the company complies with applicable laws and regulations;
- Keep a register of industrial accidents and propose applicable corrective measures;
- Coordinate, attend health and safety committee meetings;
- Write and ensure the execution of OHS action plans;
- Prepare and deliver presentations and training courses as required;
- Perform all other relevant tasks according to the needs of the department;
- Follow-up of improvement projects.
What We Need From You
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
- Be autonomous, responsible and conscientious;
- Initiative, highly proactive approach, leadership and good analytical skills;
- Great ability to adapt in a job within a dynamic environment where activities take place at a rapid pace
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships of trust with the various stakeholders, including managers, staff and representatives trade unions.
