Canadian Natural has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Field Administrative Supervisor to come join our team. In this role, you’ll support and develop a team of administrative professionals, as well as play a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.

  • Job location: Whitecourt, Alberta
  • Shift schedule: 5 x 2, 8-hour shifts
  • Safety sensitive position: Yes

Key Accountabilities:

  • Oversee the processing of invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures as well as the review of employee timecards and labour allocation
  • Provide operating and capital cost reporting
  • Gather and review monthly production data
  • Review volume variance reports
  • Ensure flared and/or vented gas volumes are submitted to Production Accounting by Field Operations
  • Communicate with internal & external stakeholders
  • Support general office administration and contribute ideas for process improvement

What You Bring to the Role:

  • 8+ years of administrative experience (preference given to oil and gas industry related experience
  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or Business Administration (preferred)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a cross functional team
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with the following programs would be considered an asset:
    • JD Edwards (Enterprise One)
    • Open Invoice (ADP)
    • PM Suite or other Production Accounting data capturing systems
    • PI System
