Position Details
The Southern Alberta Medical Program is inviting applications for a Curriculum Coordinator (Executive and Admin Support 9). This is an AUPE full time, 18 month term position that provides comprehensive advisory, administrative, logistical, and project management support to the Pre Clerkship Instructors, faculty, students (internal and external), the standardized patients, and the Director of Pre-Clerkship. This role is essential to the successful delivery of the Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) curriculum for the Medical Doctor Program. The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for curriculum-related inquiries, scheduling, and coordination of Pre Clerkship activities. This role will interact extensively with the University of Calgary UME on master scheduling, data input and sharing, course information and timely dissemination of information to faculty, staff, and students.
We are seeking an individual who is highly organized, has excellent written and verbal communication, and can interact professionally with a diverse range of stakeholders. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in this new program at the University of Lethbridge.
The successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
Position Qualifications

Post secondary diploma in admin or project management, preference given to degree.

3 yrs minimum experience, 5 years with experience in Adult Learning or post secondary an asset.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications.

Excellent analytical and problem solving skills are essential.

A valid unrestricted Class 5 Driver’s License with no more than 6 demerits and submission of a motor vehicle record (driver abstract) dated within 3 months of the posting close is required.
Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$4,576.00 - $5,114.00 monthly
Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$4,576.00 - $5,652.00 monthly (AUPE - Grade 9)
