Job Title: Reporting Clerk
Reporting To: Senior Manager - Back Office Operations
Department: Customer Operations
Location: Markham
File Number: 2980
Rate of Pay: Pay Rates as defined in the Collective Agreement
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week: Monday to Friday - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This position is responsible for registration and discharging of PPSA’s, Lease of Chattel and Notice of security interest. The individual will accurately and efficiently resolve customer queries related to registrations/discharges and financed contracts.
Responsibilities:
- Register/discharge PPSA’s, Notice of Lease of Chattel and Notice of Security Interest
- Develop and maintain accurate filing of contracts and registrations.
- Process payment discrepancies in GERS ensuring customer account is accurately updated
- Vendor Setup in GERS
- Support operations customer inquires
- Addresses adhoc requests during month-end closing
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Project work as required
- Development and implementation of operational monitoring tools and controls.
- Coordination of tools that define and prioritize the workload of the department.
- Commitment to continuous improvement of existing processes utilizing problem-solving skills.
- Responsible for the generation and distribution of a variety of operational reports and/or metrics.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational & time management skills
- Capable of doing financial analysis to rectify variances
- Demonstrates a commitment to improvement, & provide / implement recommendations & drive change
- Detail oriented and strong analytical skills
- Self-motivated team player
- Superior working knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
- GERS, Clarify and DEBE knowledge an asset
- Asset / EDGE knowledge an asset
- Post-secondary education is an asset
