TSG STAFFING SERVICES is currently recruiting for a PROCUREMENT ADVISOR for a contract opportunity in the greater Saskatoon area.
Job Description:
- Reviewing and understanding criticalcontract components, such as liability, indemnity, and intellectual property provisions.
- Utilizing Oracle and Aribasystems to manage procurement activities effectively.
- Leading source-to-contract processes, including change orders and purchase order adjustments.
- Developing procurement exhibits, ensuring the scope of work is well-defined and comprehensive.
- Supporting the transition of finalized contractsto the Contract Manager for ongoing administration.
- Collaborating with internalstakeholders to ensure alignment on procurement strategies and contract requirements.
- Maintaining a high level of accountability and independence, with approval and guidance provided as needed.
Job Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in strategic procurement, with a proven track record in strategic sourcing and contract management.
- Proficiency in Oracle and Ariba systems is preferred.
- Ability to prepare detailed exhibits and ensure scope alignment.
- Strong understanding of contract language and legal terms, including redlines, terms and conditions, and risk mitigation.
- Experience in the mining or industrial sector is preferred.
- High level of independence and accountability, with the ability to integrate quickly into the team.
