Project Details:
Based at our project in Northern S.K., this will be a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation opportunity.
Responsibilities:
The Underground Development Miners on our remote project in Northern SK is responsible and accountable for the following:
- Follow all policies and processes at the mine site and underground
- Must be prepared to adhere to all legislated regulations and company Health & Safety policies
- Perform the role safely and ensures Health & Safety is the number one priority
- Installing underground rock support (bolts and mesh)
- Installing mine services
- Operating various pieces of underground mining equipment Maclean Bolter, Jumbo, scooptrams, scissorlifts
- Mucking development round and loading trucks
- Performing underground construction related work
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years working full-time in an underground mine environment
- Experienced in installation of ground support using jumbo and maclean bolter
- Experience operating scooptrams, scissorlifts, and other underground equipment
- Shotcrete/concrete/construction experience would be considered an asset
- Slinging / rigging experience would be considered an asset
- Ability to work within a fast-paced environment and in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to lift and physically handle material up to 50lbs
- Valid Drivers Licence
- Dependable and able to commit to a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation in a remote location
- Positive attitude and enjoys being a proactive member of a high performing team
- Participate in Mine Rescue Training

- Criminal Record Check
If this position involves frequent air travel to and from the work site. Applicants must meet all legislated requirements for air travel to work at the remote site camp. You will be required to work both dayshift and nightshift as part of the rotational schedule 21 days on site, 21 days off site. For this safety sensitive position, you will be required to undergo a background check and be required to undergo substance and pre-employment testing.
