Jerk & BBQ Haven is a Jamaican Restaurant serving excellent Jamaican & Caribbean meals. We are seeking a staff who is flexible; who can multi-task; who has full knowledge in the preparation of Jamaican Cuisine.

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and creativity in the kitchen, along with having full knowledge in the preparation of Jamaican Cuisine.

**Duties:**

• Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities

• Create innovative menus and recipes

• Prepare food in a timely manner

• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations

• Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed

• Collaborate with management to develop seasonal offerings and special dishes

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment

• Being able to plan and prepare Jamaican Cuisine from start to finish

• Preparation of meals for the day to day operation of the restaurant as well as for catering events.

**Qualifications:**

• Proven experience working as a Chef

• Must have full knowledge in the preparation of Jamaican Cuisine

• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures

• Excellent culinary skills with a focus on quality and presentation

• Degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred
