Job Description
Under the direction/supervision of the clinical team, you will perform direct patient services tasks.
Accountabilities:
- Assisting with patient transfer/care, patient temperatures, weighing and utilizing aseptic techniques
- Accommodation and support services responsibilities including:

Comprehensive cleaning, preparation and disinfection of dialysis machines
-
Preparation of dialysis pre-packages, waste removal, linen, and restock of supplies

Transporting equipment and supplies with solution and maintenance of a safe environment

Qualifications
-
Registered with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA)
-
Personal Support Worker Certificate required from an accredited institution
-
Basic Knowledge of aseptic techniques
-
Current CPR
-
Recent experience working in a highly technical patient care environment
-
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
-
Excellent interpersonal, communication and comprehension skills
-
Flexibility to meet unit needs
-
Ability to work well with team members
-
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Meditech system
-
Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record
-
Must demonstrate Osler Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration

Able to handle physical requirements of the job (ability to lift at least 25-30 pounds)
Additional Information
Hours: Currently Days/Nights, 12 hours, including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
SALARY:
Minimum: $30.76 per hour
Maximum: $31.38 per hour
