THE ROLE The Bowling Alley Supervisor monitors, supervises and evaluates the operations and delivery of bowling alley’s activities and facility. They schedule the use of the facility, and perform maintenance and safety inspections of equipment and of the lanes, as required. The Bowling Alley Supervisor takes food and beverage orders, prepares and serves alcoholic drinks and non-alcoholic beverages for patrons, collects payment and record sales. They also plan, organize, staff and supervise bar activities and events according to established policies and regulations, train and supervise employees.

Qualifications Needed Education, Certifications and Licenses College diploma or certificate in Hospitality or Food and Beverage Management, or a related field AND some years of experience in hospitality, food & beverage service sector

Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Ontario

Must possess a Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (ON)

Current CPR and Standard First Aid certification

Principles of Healthy Child Development (PHCD) and Quest 2 Certification, an asset

Experience In cash handling

In bar operations

In budget administration

In office administration

In inventory control

In personnel administration

Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

Language Requirements English Essential
