The Log Cabin is currently seeking Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our culinary team. Responsibilities:
Assisting in daily running of kitchen, food preparation, and line service
- Food preparation, line service
- Perform open and closing duties
- Maintain a clean, organized & safe work area including equipment
- Preparation of soups, stocks, sauces & dressings
- Bake breads & desserts
- Vegetable preparation
- Sauté, steam, pouch, roast & grill meats/fish products
Required skills
- Have a passion and love for food
- Creative
- Positive attitude
- Self motivated
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work well under pressure in high demand situations
- Basic knowledge of safe and proper knife handling skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs,
- Available days, evenings, weekends & holidays
- Eager and willing to learn
- Experience is an asset but not required
