About the role

AgriChain is seeking Business Development Representatives for Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta to interact with grain farmers, buyers, and processors to sell AgriChain’s supply chain management software and hardware products.

AgriChain is the leading supplier of supply chain solutions in Australia and is expanding its operations in Canada. Its products include on-farm and delivery point grain inventory management, sales contracts, transportation management, procurement and traceability. Our platform is exceptionally broad with a applications for farmers, traders, and end users (flour mills, elevators, seed distributors, fertilizer distributors, packing plants etc).

We are seeking experienced Business Development Representatives with an understanding of farm to delivery point supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have an extensive network of contacts at the decision making level across the seed distribution, grain elevator, flour milling, malt houses (and any major end user) and farmers across Canada and to a lesser extent the USA.

This is a key role that requires a dedicated, self motivated, sales / business development professional who has a positive “can-do” attitude and is willing to get their hands dirty. AgriChain is a great place to work with a progressive mentality and a friendly vibe full of people willing to go the extra mile for each other.

You can work from home or/and the Saskatoon office and will develop a regional territory. This role does require weekly travel to ensure sales growth through on site / on farm visits, so the right candidate will be ok away from home 2-3 nights per week. AgriChain also encourages the use of online meetings where possible, but ultimately we find nothing works as well as meeting face to face at least in the first instance.

Remuneration will consist of a base salary plus sales-driven bonuses for an earnings target of $160,000 or more. A vehicle will be supplied.

Please note the job is largely a work from home and travel based job. AgriChain are not set on a fixed location and will work to accomdate the right candidate.
