Responsibilities
- Act as a change agent, facilitator and coach through the use of Lean tools.
- Identify, propose and ensure the application of action plans identified as part of Kaizen or other improvement projects.
- Manage, organize and lead multidisciplinary meetings for continuous improvement and production cost reduction projects.
- Analyze trends in results or processes and monitor the benefits of the projects for which he/she is responsible.
- Influence and/or manage project teams and employees involved in or impacted by the transformations implemented.
- Provide active leadership in Health and Safety at Pharmascience by using each project as a vehicle for improving the safety of the work environment.
- Work with the Quality Assurance group to promote the highest level of quality while challenging the status quo by implementing innovative solutions.
- Train Operations teams on Lean principles and tools
Skills, Knowledge And Abilities
- Recognized certification in continuous process improvement
- Ease of interaction and excellent ability to communicate with people
- Good aptitude for teamwork
- Autonomy
- Bilingualism English/French (oral and written); As part of his/her tasks, this person will be required to read and write documentation in english only
- Ability to write and interpret technical documents
- Ability to effectively manage time and priorities
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously
- Problem-solving skills
- Proficient with MS Office
