Sweet Thea Bakery located in Langley is looking for a part time baker's assistant. We are a scratch bakery that specializes in cookies, laminated pastries, and pies.

We’re looking for a Bakery Assistant to join us three days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

This is a production facility which creates a high volume of quality baked goods at an efficient pace and requires a solid work ethic. You must be able to work on your feet all day, lift baking trays, flour, and other bakery essentials, and work within a team.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting bakers with ingredient preparation
• Packaging cookies, pies, and other baked goods
• Making fillings and other prep tasks as required
• Supporting the team with general production needs

Requirements:

• Must be detail-oriented and able to follow instructions carefully
• Fluency in English is required, as clear communication is essential in our fast-paced kitchen
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn

Wage: $19 per hour
