Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Deskside Support Technician. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Sarnia, Ontario.

Responsibilities:

Site wide IT Support

• Recognized site wide point of contact for consulting and support for IT support.
• General IT troubleshooting/problem resolution/escalation and testing.
• Support and Procurements of hardware, software, peripherals.
• Managing process of new employee accounts and IT hardware.
• Kingston Folder Access: Help with access to folders for Kingston site. I have admin writes to grant access and enter myaccess requests. I also help with implementing myaccess requests.
• Kingston Sharepoint Access/Support: I grant access to and support Kingston’s local sharepoint sites such as Vendor Tracking System, Shipping Database, External Document site etc.

Process\Analytical IT Support

• Process\Analytical Network and Server Management (the PCN network): I implemented pcn (setup the overall design, and installed the hardware, cabling) and manage any ongoing additions. Input firewall requests so people can access this network. I also manage the access and backups of the servers. The PCN network encompasses all local businesses such as Copper, Semi Works, HTN, FS&RE, etc and all of the Analytical labs.
• Specialized Process\Analytical Computer Deployment: I work with all projects on their non-standard computer setups for processes and lab setups. I do custom computer setups and orders. Install nonstandard software. This is across all businesses within DuPont Kingston.

JHSC Representative

• Represent Worley on DuPont’s Site JHSC as an employee representative, available to provide support and guidance to Worley employees.
• Participate in area audits on the monthly HSE focus.
• Present Worley and DuPont HSE topics to Worley employees at Staff Meetings.

What you will bring:
Technical and Industry Experience:

Engineering IT Support

• Engineering Software Management: All the specialized software that engineering uses, mostly CAD type software like Microstation, Autocad, AutoPLANT, SAP2000, DuView, Bluebeam etc. I manage installation, setup, troubleshooting and billing.
• Engineering Server Support: Support and manage the Kingston KIRS002 Engineering server.
• Asset Records (in conjunction): Create and manage all the CAD drawings for Microstation and AutoPLANT models.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

• Associate’s degree/College Diploma is required.
