About the role
Our organization is currently seeking a positive, outgoing, team oriented individual to fill the position of Operations Supervisor. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Supervisor is appointed or recruited to oversee a group of workers, and to monitor and guide their results in delivering quality service to a client or department.
Job Duties:
- Dispatch- Coordinate equipment, employees, and maintenance by creating and maintaining effective and efficient communications and scheduling.
- attend all site orientation as well as ride-a-longs with Employees.
- monitor and review the scheduling of drivers and report back to the Tuc’s Operations Manager on improvements that may be needed.
- ensure the effective running of Tail Gate and Tool Box safety meetings. This position will require you to become familiar with policies and procedures such as pre- and post-trip inspections.
Skills/Experience

Experience in truck transportation. water hauling or sewer services would be an asset.

A minimum 5 Years supervisory or managerial experience is required, preferably gained in an equipment, Truck-Transport or related field. A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a definite advantage.

- Fluency in MS Office; Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook, or Outlook Express
