Job Title: Junior Canadian Immigration Case Manager (Contractor)
Pay Rate: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour (on T4)
Location: Remote (Canada-based candidates preferred)
Period: 6-month contract (with potential for extension)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Canadian Immigration Case Manager (Contractor) to join our team on a remote basis. The successful candidate will support the preparation and management of temporary resident applications and work permit/visa applications. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to gain practical experience in Canadian immigration case management.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparing and managing temporary resident and work permit/visa applications.
- Support client case intake and help gather necessary documentation.
- Draft, review, and organize supporting materials and application forms.
- Maintain regular, professional communication with clients regarding case updates and next steps.
- Conduct research on immigration regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation before submission.
- Maintain organized case records and tracking systems.
- Provide administrative support to immigration counsel and senior team members as needed.
- Assist with additional immigration-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Diploma, certificate, or degree in Immigration Studies, Law, or a related field (or current enrollment/completion in an accredited immigration consultant program).
- Up to 1–2 years of experience in Canadian immigration case support (co-op, internship, or volunteer experience also considered).
- Exposure to temporary resident and work permit/visa application processes preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Eagerness to learn and develop practical skills in immigration case management.
Additional Details:
This is a 6-month contract role with the possibility of extension based on performance. We welcome applications from motivated, detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about immigration and excited to support clients in their journey.
