Who We Are
As an Associate RFP and Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our regional contract and RFP management for consumable, equipment, and service contracts. This outstanding opportunity allows you to work with key business collaborators, including Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Logistics, and Legal, to ensure outstanding end-to-end management of all RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and Contracts. You will provide professional project management, strategic recommendations, statistics, and specialized support to customers. Your dedication will ensure the detailed execution of proposals and contracts, from inception to completion, adhering to our high standards and processes!
What you'll be doing
- Develop, implement, and maintain contracts for regional customers
- Notify customers of pricing and eligibility accurately and promptly, while assisting with the management of the Regional Contract Calendar and considering national perspectives
- Support the RFP Lead with regional RFPs and RFIs
- Complete and handle the contract process, including new contracts, renewals, capital agreements, consumables, lease agreements, quotes, and extensions
- Lead the preparation of agreements, contracts, and price quotations, ensuring strict compliance with Baxter's detailed procedures (SOPs, BOPs, Approval Rights, Signature Rights, RACI Matrix, Contract Forms Package, Contract Templates)
- Coordinate kickoff and status update calls/meetings for resigns with collaborators (sales, marketing, legal, finance, pricing, etc.)
- Maintain the Big Board and lead the Contract Calendar from start to finish
- Support other Baxter Canada Contracts and Pricing initiatives as needed
- Work with customers to see opportunities and strengthen relationships in conjunction with the sales team, improving contract management
- Provide Sales with monthly status reports on contract renewals/negotiations, identifying outstanding tasks
- Proactively offer decision support and recommendations to simplify and integrate processes, assessing future support needs given the dynamic nature of the business
- Continuously focus on process improvement, challenging the status quo, and evaluating opportunities to simplify, integrate, and accelerate contracting/pricing processes
- Ensure integrity and compliance with Baxter policies and procedures, maintaining an internal control environment, including compliance with SOX
What you'll bring
- Bilingual proficiency in French/English
- University Degree required; MBA with a specialization in contract management or business management preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience; 5+ years in Healthcare preferred
- Experience in contract and pricing administration, with direct negotiations for small to medium agreements
- Proven experience in Sales Support, Contract Management, and RFP Management Strong analytical skills
