1 ‑ Full Time ‑ Medical Physicist

Medical Physics

The Medical Physicist supplies specialized scientific expertise to the cancer centres through the application of

physics to medicine. Physicists are engaged in clinical services, radiation safety, education, research, and

administrative activities.

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:

* A Ph.D. (preferred) or M.Sc. in medical physics or related discipline from a recognized university.

* Membership in the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine with a subspecialty in Radiation Oncology Physics,

or equivalent credential.

* A minimum of two years of practice in a clinical radiation oncology environment is preferred.

* Demonstrated interest and activity in academics and research.

* Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of staff in a multidisciplinary health care

environment.

Salary Range: $84.449 to 110.470
