Job Description
UAP Inc. is seeking a skilled Technician to join our team and support the automated warehouse system at our Cambridge facility. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing system performance to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on installed automated warehouse systems to guarantee consistent functionality and reliability.

Oversee maintenance activities and manage spare parts inventory to maximize operational efficiency.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all technical tasks using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Deliver prompt, efficient support to operations with a commitment to “right first time” execution.

Participate actively in operations meetings and provide emergency maintenance support as required.

Proactively identify and resolve maintenance issues while managing internal escalations with professionalism and urgency.
-
Monitor and continuously improve maintenance processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and timely response.

Collaborate closely with operations teams to sustain and enhance overall system performance.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

Technical diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering disciplines.

Proficient in reading, interpreting, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical schematics.

Solid understanding of industrial automation, including sensor technologies, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
-
Demonstrated experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic system faults.

Skilled in performing routine maintenance and commissioning of mechatronic systems.
-
Proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and knowledgeable in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) principles.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimizing automated system performance.
