Marketing Analyst/Consultant – Contractor
This is a targeted invitation for qualified contractors. $125.00 hourly rate, (245 hours MAX). To begin immediately.
Objective: Adapt the Faculty of Dentistry’s training clinics for the new environment of oral health care following the implementation of the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP).
A market research professional will develop a comprehensive plan that includes the following:

A comprehensive scan of the GVA/GVRD to identify all possible organizations where prospective patients can be reached.

Identify methods to increase the attraction and retention of patients where cost is identified as a barrier.

The marketing plan will include a range of communication resources with customized language and translations to highlight the services and benefits our educational programs offer.

Designing a sophisticated marketing plan that will take into consideration all the nuances of our population.

Propose projects that will increase patient attraction and retention in order to maintain high-quality training for students in order to provide sufficient training opportunities.

These resources will be designed to be incorporated into diverse types of media such as newsletters and social media.

Analyze current patients in order to establish a baseline map of areas to target.
In a preliminary search, centres already identified are DIVERSEcity Community Resources, Multicultural Helping House Society, Vancouver Immigrant Women's Society, and Immigrant Services Society of BC. Other connections may include food banks and community or religious centres.
Contractor Requirements
Demonstrated experience conducting research and analysis in similar or related projects. The successful contractor for this agreement will be required to maintain professionalism and have experience working with a diversity of people. The incumbent must be a self-starter, with excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills. The contractor must have highly effective organizational abilities. The candidate must have exceptional analytic and report writing skills. Experience working with dental or medical professions an asset. Experience with or understanding of services provided to immigrant or marginalized populations an asset.
