Location Manvers, Omemee and Little Britain
Hours Up to 24 hours per week; includes day, afternoon, evening and
weekend hours, from September to March
Job Description
- Assist in the operation and maintenance of community centres and arenas
- Ice re-surfacing and maintenance
- Cleaning of washrooms and building
- Assist in the collection of facility revenue
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills/ Education Required
- Previous experience in arenas/ice operations or willingness and ability to learn
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience with preventive maintenance of various types of equipment preferred
- Excellent customer-service, effective oral communication and strong interpersonal skills to deal with members of the public and staff
- First Aid and CPR preferred
- Possess and maintain a valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s Licence
- Upon a conditional offer of employment, a Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search, will be required
Applicants must be prepared for skill testing.
