About the role
Adamson Systems Engineering is a vertically integrated, mixed-mode manufacturer with an extensive range of modern production technologies located in beautiful Port Perry, Ontario. Adamson manufactures high-end live performance audio equipment for concerts and on-stage performances worldwide.
The successful candidate will utilize our ERP system to drive manufacturing operations by scheduling and capacity planning of raw parts and sub-assemblies through to finished products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Jobs/Manufacturing Orders: Maintain and adjust production schedules in the ERP system in preferably M1, ensuring alignment with capacity and material availability.
- ERP Management: Issue and maintain work orders, track job progress, synchronize ERP data across work centers and warehouse.
- Monitor and Improve: Analyze production routing, lead times, labour efficiency, and material flow; recommend improvements where needed.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with purchasing, engineering, and production teams to ensure seamless coordination and real-time decision-making.
- MRP/Inventory Oversight: Evaluate parts availability, identify purchasing requirements, and monitor inventory accuracy.
- Support ERP Enhancement: Help implement improvements to ERP/MRP workflows and assist in training team members.
Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of college or University degree/diploma.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing environments (preferably in a mixed-mode setup).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as ECi M1, SAP, Odoo, Epicor, NetSuite, or similar.
- Demonstrated experience with scheduling and coordinating jobs on the production floor.
- Knowledge of material planning (MRP), lead time analysis, and job routing.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Advanced MS Excel or data analysis skills.
- Experience in Lean manufacturing environments is a plus.
