About the role

The successful candidates will prepare and teach one or more of the following:

RESP 1580 – Instrumentation I Lab (L02) – Every other Wednesday 0930-1220. 0.75 credits total

RESP 2570 – Blood Gas Analysis Lab (L01/L02/L03) – Every Monday 1330-1520/1530-1720/1730-1920. 1 credit each/3 credits total

RESP 2570 – Blood Gas Analysis Lab (L04/L05/L06[x2]) – Every Wednesday 1330-1520/1530-1720/1730-1920. 1 credit each/4 credits total

RESP 2590 – Patient Assessment Simulation (L03/L06) – L03 every Thursday 1730-1920/L06 every Tuesday 1730-1920. 1 credit each/2 credits total

RESP 2590 – Patient Assessment Lab (L03) – Every Thursday 1730-1920. 1 credit total

RESP 2680 – Pulmonary Function Lab (L03) – Every Tuesday starting Oct 21 1730-1920. 0.5 credits

RESP 2680 – Pulmonary Function Lab (L06) – Every Thursday starting Oct 30 1730-1920. 0.5 credits

QUALIFICATIONS

  • RRT credential

  • Evidence of effective teaching/preceptor experience

  • Evidence of effective teamwork and constructive communication skills

NOTE: If applying for RESP 2680 - Pulmonary Function L03 and/or L06, recent experience conducting or participating in body box tests is preferred.
