Tandem Truck Driver/Snowplow (Temporary Full Time)
JOB POSTING ID: 25E-45
Under the direction of the Roads Supervisor, operates snowplow truck and operates truck to transport various materials. Circle checks and performs minor equipment maintenance and adjustments. Completes reports.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent acceptable experience
- Must have a minimum of one year experience in operation of a single operator truck over 18,000 GVW with a combination plow with wing and sanding unit
- Must hold a valid Ontario class “D” driver’s license with a “Z” endorsement
- Must have a good driving record
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the operation of a snowplow truck
- Applicants will be subject to vehicle operations testing
Hours of Work: 0730hrs to 1600hrs - Monday to Friday
Duration: ASAP to November 2025
Environment: Unionized
Rate of Pay $29.45 per hour
