Job Description

Reporting to the Managing Director, Corporate Finance, the Manager, Investor Relations will support shareholder relationship management, reporting and analysis activities as part of Tricon’s Corporate Finance team. This role involves regular interaction with stakeholders, including senior leadership and Tricon’s private equity owners, and contributes to the development and delivery of timely, high-quality reporting materials.

The successful candidate will have a collaborative mindset, strong financial acumen, the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment, and have strong proven verbal and written communication skills.

  • Please note this position is an 18-month fixed term contract.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and distribute key financial and operational reporting deliverables on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis for both internal and external stakeholders, and serve as a key point of contact for Tricon’s private equity owners.
  • Contribute to the development and articulation of key messaging, ensuring alignment across written communications and verbal updates.
  • Lead the end-to-end development of materials, including presentations, updates, quarterly letters, and offering documents.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams including legal, finance, investments, compliance, accounting, and marketing to source and validate information.
  • Execute on ad hoc strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, operational KPIs and valuation methods.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced and changing environment with demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize competing tasks and demands under tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a particular strength in dealing with individuals at various levels of seniority inside and outside of the organization.
  • Proven ability to create engaging slide presentations and convey financial concepts visually.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high level of attention to detail in analytical and written communications.
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, commerce, or a related field. Advanced credentials (MBA, CPA, CAIA, CFA) are preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in the following or equivalent disciplines: investor relations, capital markets, equity research, investment banking, accounting or corporate development.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems.
  • Understanding of real estate investment and/or operations highly preferred.
