Join Our Team
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and community-minded individual to support the daily operations of our High School Office. This role is integral to creating a welcoming and efficient environment for staff, students, and families. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, bring warmth and flexibility to their interactions, and contribute to the overall life of the school through a variety of administrative, logistical, and relational responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
High School Office Operations
- Provide reception services and assist with general inquiries
- Troubleshoot day-to-day office needs and provide support to teachers
- Manage physical and digital documentation, including filing, laminating, printing, binding, and booklet creation
- Update digital records and school documents on the HUB
Program & Event Coordination
- Support the Staff Kidz program (daily at 3:00 PM)
- Assist with lunch supervision as needed
- Provide logistical support for school events such as Graduation and Feeding Futures
Resource & Supply Management
- Monitor and maintain staff room supplies and resources
- Purchase disposable items and food for events as required
Technology & Equipment Support
- Oversee Chromebook loaner system and ensure devices are properly tracked
Liaison & Communication
- Serve as a communication bridge between high school staff and the business office
Space Stewardship
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of shared spaces, including the high school hallway, copier room, staff room, bulletin boards, and Principal's office
Other Duties
- Take photos and videos for internal communications, memos, and school documentation
Salary range
22.79 - 25.34 per hour (dependent on education, qualifications, and experience)
Ideal Qualifications
- Understands and supports the mission and vision of the school
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle is considered an asset
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and manage time effectively
- Warm, patient, and flexible, with a genuine heart for community
- Proactive, with a desire to grow, learn, and continuously improve
- Works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team
