As a valued member of our team, reporting directly to the Supervisor, Payroll and Benefits, you will collaborate closely with a dynamic group of payroll administrators and human resources professionals.

What You’ll Do

You’ll act with integrity to:

  • Provide integrated services for the calculation and processing of payroll, benefits, pension, pension adjustment, and attendance for an assigned client group following statutory, systems, policies and administrative requirements.
  • Ensure efficient delivery, update, and maintain benefit information
  • Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and coordinate with external vendors
  • Administer LTIP, handle third-party reporting, and T4/T4A reproduction

You’ll support our collaboration as you:

  • Verify and process employee changes (hires, leaves, terminations, benefits, pensions).
  • Calculate salaries, severances, over/underpayments, and pension contributions.
  • Maintain accurate records of absences, entitlements, and year-end carry-overs.
  • Support benefit and pension administration, including LTIP and buybacks.
  • Reconcile and produce reports for third-party vendors and assist with T4/T4A processes.
  • Liaise with HR and external agencies to resolve payroll and benefits inquiries.
  • Maintain employee files and ensure data confidentiality.
  • Complete Records of Employment and perform related administrative tasks.

How You Qualify

You demonstrate excellence through your:

  • 1–2 years of payroll/benefits/pension experience
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and collective agreements
  • Experience with HRIS and Microsoft Excel/Word
  • Understanding of payroll year-end and general ledger processes
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communicator with attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
