Warehouse Associate Job Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable, hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our growing organization. In this position, you will perform various warehouse activities as well as receive, input, sort, load, and unload products. Strong computer skills are a must.
Typical work activities (Duties may include, but are not limited to the following)
- Verification of incoming and outgoing inventory
- Track and organize inventory
- Receive items removed from aircrafts into computer system and allocate warehouse location
- Inspect and count items that are sent out and received, ensuring accuracy
- Inspect products for damages; report as needed
- Scan and save soft copies of certifications for shipped and received goods.
- Take quality pictures of all removed, incoming, and outgoing items
- Cycle counts and ensuring inventory accuracy
- Proper and safe handling of customer property
- Clean helicopters and parts removed from them to preserve them for long term storage
- Organize tools
- Organize aircraft records and assist in scanning and data entry
- Maintain safe working conditions and keep warehouse areas clean and organized and free of non-needed obstructions.
- Operate pallet jacks and related warehouse machinery
- Having a clear understanding of the company's policies, vision, and quality objectives and how the warehouse contributes to these;
- Assist warehouse technician and supervisor where needed
- Plus additional duties as assigned by senior management
Warehouse Associate Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma and warehouse experience preferred, with acceptable references
- Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
- Good working knowledge of computer data systems
- Solid communication skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with helicopters and manufacturer databases are a bonus
- Valid forklift license is a bonus
- Attention to detail
- Customer oriented
- Must be available for on call AOG’s, for both Shipping and Receiving
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $41,600.00-$52,000.00 per year
