Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, charter, cargo and emergency air transportation services to Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for 45 years. Owned collectively by the Inuit of Nunavik through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 30 aircraft and employs over 1,000 people in one of the world's most demanding flying environments.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Contributes to the sustainability of the technological park, through the administration of servers, technical assistance to employees when using IT tools and the communication of good user practices.

Assumes a general technical support role by performing activities, in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assists more experienced technicians in his field of activity.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform technical support.
  • Active participation to the upgrade and automation of the enterprise computer systems including northern Quebec.
  • Assist in the preparation of documentation and technical procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree in computer science.

  • Minimum 0 - 3 years’ relevant experience

  • Technical knowledge:

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Window, MS Office, Internet, and hardware.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory.

  • Good knowledge of Group Policy (GPO).

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Bilingual (French-English).

  • Eager to learn

  • Attention to details

  • Able to handle stress

  • Available to travel to Nunavik (Quebec internal flights).
