About the role
As a Social Media Intern at Pophaus, you'll work closely with our social team to support the day-to-day execution of content creation, creator coordination, and community engagement for fast-growing CPG brands across North America. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the inner workings of a creative agency while making a real impact on social campaigns.
This is a paid internship with and lasts a minimum of 6 months.
There is potential for the role to evolve into a part-time or full-time position based on performance and agency needs.

About the Role
This internship is designed for someone who lives and breathes social, especially TikTok and Instagram, and wants to gain experience in creator management, content workflows, creative thinking, and client-facing execution. You'll have the chance to shadow, support, and contribute to the ongoing success of our clients' social presence.
We’re looking for someone who’s active on social. If you’re already posting, creating, or engaging on Instagram or TikTok, that’s a huge plus. We’re not looking at follower count, just that you get the vibe.
Responsibilities
- Research and identify new content creators aligned with client brands.
- Assist in outreach, communication, and product coordination for creators.
- Maintain and update internal creator performance trackers.
- Come up with new creative ideas for our clients' social media content.
- Support in managing and scheduling social media content for clients.
- Perform community management: respond to DMs and comments with on-brand tone.
- Track and log engagement across accounts, noting standout interactions.
- Help create bi-weekly insights reports and community feedback summaries.
- Join weekly team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
You’re a Fit If You...
- Someone who’s active on social. If you’re already posting, creating, or engaging on Instagram or TikTok, that’s a huge plus. Please share your IG/TT profile with your application.
- Are currently enrolled in a full-time Canadian post-secondary program with a focus on social media, digital media, communications, journalism, or marketing.
- Have a strong interest in social media marketing, community building, and influencer culture.
- Understand the nuances of TikTok and Instagram from a creator and brand lens.
- Are organized and comfortable using tools like Google Sheets, Notion, or Airtable.
- Communicate clearly and proactively.
- Are curious, resourceful, and willing to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Have worked with a CPG brand in any capacity (internship, freelance, school project, etc.).
- Bonus: You've played around with creator platforms like Modash, Grin, or Aspire.
