About the role
Guelph Manufacturing Group Inc. is currently hiring a Executive Assistant/Bookkeeper for our corporate office.
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping:
- Maintain financial statements
- Reconcile accounts
- Account payable & account receivable
- Prepare cheques
- Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports
- Other office and administration duties
- Communicate professionally in all verbal and written communication
Executive Assistant:
- Organizing meetings involving multiple senior executives.
- Assisting with the preparation of business presentations including text, overheads and electronic presentations.
- Planning, organizing and coordinating functions and special events.
- Taking meeting minutes.
- Managing facility use agreements, room booking, equipment bookings and office supplies.
- Scheduling travel arrangements for management and staff.
- Reviewing and summarizing miscellaneous reports and documents; preparing background documents and outgoing mail as necessary.
- Interact with external clients.
- Assist with Sales Department.
Experience:
- Combination of education and experience in Bookkeeping and Business Administration.
- 5+ years of experience supporting at the executive level. High proficiency in the use of computers for word processing, database work, spreadsheets, email, research, presentations.
- Excellent verbal, written , and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated success in a dynamic, deadline-oriented and ever-evolving environment.
- Proven ability to effectively prioritize work flow.
- Ability to exercise good judgement, show initiative and be proactive.
- Organized and able to multitask, ability to maintain confidentiality and act in a professional manner.
