Position Overview: Part-Time Budtender We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Budtender to join our team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding customers through their cannabis purchases, offering product recommendations, and ensuring an enjoyable experience in our store.
Flexibility to work the following shifts - 24-34 hours per week: 10.5 hours shifts
Monday to Wednesday: 10am-8pm
Thursday to Saturday: 10am-9pm
Sunday: 10am-7pm
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Assistance: Welcome customers, provide information on products, and assist in product selection to ensure a positive and informed purchase
- Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cannabis products, strains, effects, and trends to accurately answer customer questions
- Regulatory Compliance: Verify customer identification and ensure all transactions comply with provincial regulations and company policies
- Inventory Management: Assist in restocking shelves, managing displays, and organizing products to keep the store neat and fully stocked
- Sales Transactions: Process sales efficiently and accurately using the POS system
- Education and Engagement: Engage with customers to build rapport and provide a welcoming and respectful shopping environment
Requirements
- Must be CannSell certified (or willing to obtain certification)
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Passion for cannabis and a desire to stay knowledgeable about products and industry developments
- Ability to work responsibly and uphold regulatory compliance
- Must be over the age of 19
