Location: Cornwall, ON
Assignment: Permanent
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Salary: Step 1: $37.84/hour Step 2:*: $40.90/hour

Are you interested in playing a key role in ensuring the success of our Finance team by providing general accounting support in the areas of treasury and accounts payable? Problem-solving, analytical skills and ability to manage priorities are some of your strengths?

Your responsibilities

  • Organize and execute a variety of activities including preparing reports, documents, maintaining ledgers, and reconciliation of accounts, to support the organization's financial accounting requirements.

  • Provide support in the areas of accounts payable and accounts receivable when needed.

  • Keep electronic financial records, reports, queries and databases up to date.

  • Maintain documentation inventory per established corporate records management procedures.

Your profile

  • High school diploma and post-secondary studies in Financial Accounting.

  • Minimum of two (2) years related experience in areas such as journal entries, reconciliations, year-end scheduling, accruals and sales tax.

  • Sound knowledge of business financial software, such SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling modules.

  • Fluent in French and English, verbal and written, in order to communicate with teams located in Quebec and Ontario.
