About the role
We are looking for a skilled Social Media Contractor to join our team on a part-time basis (60-70 hours per month). The ideal candidate will have experience managing both paid and organic social media campaigns, with a strong understanding of content strategy, content curation, audience engagement, and platform analytics. This is an ideal opportunity for a contractor looking to take on more work with a great team and great clients. Candidates must be available to work Monday-Friday during regular business hours 9am - 5pm. Must be able to provide a portfolio of work.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies to drive engagement and growth for clients.
- Leverage the latest AI tools and technology to maximize social media campaign performance.
- Manage and optimize both paid and organic social media campaigns across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
- Create compelling content, including copywriting, graphics, and short-form video
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to refine strategies and improve ROI.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and platform updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and brand consistency.
- Provide monthly reporting and recommendations.
- Participate in client meetings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in social media management, specifically in both paid and organic content.
- Strong knowledge of social media advertising platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
- Excellent writing and content creation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
- Must be based permanently in British Columbia, Canada.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Agency experience or client facing experience is an asset.
