ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Project Engineer at Proceco, you will be responsible for the design and execution of industrial cleaning and surface treatment equipment projects. You will work closely with high-profile clients, including several Fortune 500 companies, to develop customized machines such as the TYPHOON®-HD rotary table washer, the TYPHOON®-MB conveyorized system, the Éco-Smart® wastewater treatment systems, and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development of automated and integrated equipment concepts tailored to client needs and specifications.
Oversee all mechanical engineering deliverables (approval drawings, fabrication drawings, process flow diagrams, etc.).
Review and document engineering calculations to ensure equipment safety and performance.
Manage mechanical design budgets, optimizing both cost and quality.
Collaborate with purchasing and suppliers for component selection.
Contribute to continuous innovation and the development of internal standards to improve product reliability and reduce time-to-market.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent) with a minimum of 10 years of engineering experience.
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
Proficient in both French and English, spoken and written.
Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks) is an asset.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and/or electrical controls is considered an asset.
