Position Description
Title: Industrial Electrician
Position Purpose: The Industrial Electrician installs, troubleshoots and repairs complex electrical and electronic equipment and distribution systems involving electrical and mechanical work of a broad nature.
Principle Accountabilities
- Troubleshoot and repair automated manufacturing processes
- Plan and install electrical and electronic components on a wide variety of equipment
- Occasionally perform minor mechanical repairs
- Manage personal workflow using a computerized maintenance system for work orders, parts, and work history
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 3rd year Apprentice Electrician
- A strong understanding of control systems, Allen Bradley controllers, variable speed drives, networks and communications
- General troubleshooting and work planning skills
