Job Duties
- Prepare and facilitate the delivery of Budget Advanced course which includes demonstrating an excellent understanding of zero-based budgets in different organizations and techniques for building basic operating budgets with teaching activities and in-class exercises.
- Must be familiar with Excel and also familiar with Basic Cash Flow and Capital Budgeting.
- Answer student questions and provide individual feedback on assignments.
- Revise curriculum, and develop appropriate learning activities and teaching plans for each teaching assignment.
- Manage the classroom to provide an optimum learning environment for students.
- Work cooperatively with the Continuing Education Consultant and colleagues in a “team” environment.
- Recent relevant business/industry teaching experience is an asset.
- Must be available to travel across the province for customized training requests.

Required Qualifications

Four year Bachelor degree in Commerce or Administration; OR equivalent 4-year Business degree; OR related 4-year degree with major or related experience in specialty area to be taught; OR Business diploma with Education degree with related experience in specialty area to be taught; OR a Professional Accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA, recent/relevant work experience (2 years in the last 5) in an accountancy related business environment.
