About the Role
You will be the hands-on editor, writer, storyteller and publisher across LinkedIn, email, social media and more. Working from pre-planned shoots and concept briefs, you’ll transform raw footage into polished short-form (Reels, Shorts) and long-form videos, craft platform-optimized copy, and schedule posts across Instagram and LinkedIn. As well as repurpose content transcripts for LinkedIn posts, newsletters, emails and more. You’ll also repurpose podcast episodes into written and visual snippets for LinkedIn and Instagram, ensuring consistency in tone and brand voice.
You’ll take ideas and bring them to life—managing all technical and creative aspects of editing, post production, and publishing.
Some of our content reflects Christian values through our faith-based philanthropic work. We’re looking for someone who can approach this with openness, creativity, and respect.
Key Responsibilities
Content Production & Editing
- Edit high-quality short-form and long-form video (Reels, Shorts, interviews, podcasts) using industry-standard tools (Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc.).
- Apply professional lighting, audio mixing, color correction, motion graphics, captions, and storytelling structure.
- Craft attention-grabbing hooks, thumbnails, and on-screen text overlays.
- Troubleshoot technical issues in real-time to keep production on schedule.
Copywriting & Repurposing
- Write or adapt scripts, captions, and post copy that align with provided themes and brand voice.
- Repurpose podcast and video transcripts into LinkedIn posts, carousel slides, emails, newsletters and Instagram captions.
- Ensure all copy is concise, engaging, and platform-optimized (SEO, hashtags, metadata).
Publishing & Platform Management
- Schedule and publish posts across Instagram, LinkedIn, and occasionally Hubspot for email campaigns and newsletters.
- Monitor post metrics (views, likes, shares) and flag under-performing content for review.
- Maintain an organized content calendar and file system for all assets.
Collaboration & Execution
- Collaborate with leadership to understand content briefs, deliverables, and timelines.
- Provide feedback on shoot setups, on-camera performance, and asset quality.
- Execute revisions and updates based on input—ensuring delivered content matches vision.
Who You Are
- Experienced Editor: 3+ years of hands-on video editing and post production for social media formats.
- Strong Copywriter: Excellent writing skills to craft and adapt content for LinkedIn, Instagram, newsletters and emails.
- Detail-Oriented & Efficient: You catch typos, sync audio/video perfectly, and deliver polished work on deadline.
- Technically Proficient: Comfortable with cameras, lighting, audio gear, editing software, and social media platforms.
- Collaborative & Receptive: You take direction well, communicate clearly, and thrive in a team environment.
- Respectful of Values: Able to handle faith-based content with sensitivity and openness.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in content marketing, social media video production, or a similar role.
- Proven portfolio of short-form and long-form video projects optimized for Instagram Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn video, etc.
- Expert proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, or equivalent).
- Solid track record of repurposing audio/video into written and visual social media assets.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or comparable marketing automation tools for publishing and basic analytics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with personal branding, podcast editing, or YouTube channel management.
- Background in digital marketing, inbound marketing, or SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with AI-powered editing and captioning tools.

- Hands-On Growth Environment: Be the go-to editor bringing our content vision to life.
- Direct Impact: Your work will shape the face of our personal brand and drive inbound leads.

- Career Development: Learn from business leaders, content strategists, and recruiters with a growth mindset.
- Future Team Building: Opportunity to grow into a senior editor role and mentor junior producers.
