Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and adherence to safety regulations while on the road.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport products to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring that all items are secured properly during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of store-to-store transfers.
- Communicate effectively with stores receiving product regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred, but not mandatory.
- British Columbia Class 5 Driver's License
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50lbs
