About the role

About the Opportunity

The Organizational Change Management Analyst – People Readiness supports the design, coordination, and execution of change strategies that enable end-user adoption of the OPOR CIS. This includes readiness assessments, stakeholder engagement, transition planning, impact analysis, and delivery of change interventions that support awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, and reinforcement (ADKAR) of new ways of working. The Organizational Change Management Analyst will also assess engagement levels across various PREPARE and OPOR program platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Town Halls, Meetings) to identify trends in participation and effectiveness of engagement strategies. Additionally, tracking partner engagements, focusing on impacted audiences to evaluate the effectiveness of OCM engagement efforts and identify areas where gaps exist.

Working under the direction of the Clinical Engagement Manager, with functional reporting to the Organizational Change Management Senior Analyst, the OCM Analyst collaborates closely with clinical and operational leaders, subject matter experts, and front-line staff to ensure readiness activities are evidence-based, inclusive, and scalable across Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health.

The OCM Analyst aligns their efforts with the objectives of the OPOR Program, as well as the mission, vision, and strategic directions of IWK and NS Health.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Post-secondary education in clinical, health science, data science, business analysis, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years' experience in data analysis (qualitative and quantitative), data interpretation and reporting skills
  • Experience in workflow and process redesign an asset
  • Able to function well within a team setting and independently
  • Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communications skills
  • Proven good attendance record with capabilities of maintaining this same standard
  • Possess a valid driver's license and ability for some travel within the province
  • Certification in CPHIMS, IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Project Management (PMP) and/or organizational change management an asset
  • 1-3 years’ experience in health systems analysis, business analysis or systems support an asset
  • Experience supporting or using clinical application systems and related services in a complex healthcare organizational environment considered an asset
  • Ability to relay or explain complex technical issues or difficult scenarios to clinical and business staff an asset.

  • Basic knowledge of systems principles, theories, and concepts within healthcare
  • Ability to solve a range of complex problems; identify innovative solutions; and use clinical best practice knowledge of internal and/or external business issues to improve service
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong communication, planning, presentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a high-change, fast-paced, and matrixed environment
  • Experience creating summary documentation based on evaluation and analysis
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to solve high risk, complex issues
  • Experience in transformational or process analysis to support change management principles
  • Strong project management skills, high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to clearly communicate the NSHA vision, mission and values

Hours

  • Temporary, Full-time Position; 75 Hours Bi-weekly

Compensation and Benefits

$33.80 - $42.25 Hourly
