The Service Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences within the hospitality sector. This position involves coordinating services, managing schedules, and facilitating communication between guests and service staff. Duties:
- Coordinate daily operations and ensure seamless communication between departments to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Manage scheduling for technician staff, ensuring adequate coverage during peak times.
- Assist guests with inquiries, reservations, and any special requests to ensure a memorable experience.
- Monitor service quality and address any issues promptly to maintain high standards of guest services.
- Manage all customer bookings to ensure all necessary parts are onsite for each appointment before appointment date.
- Assist Service Department with loaner fleet, ensuring availability and cleanliness of vehicles.
- Be the first point of contact for our customers over the phone, ensuring each customer is connected with the right department.
- Be the first point of contact for our customers in person, ensuring each person is greeted by a professionally dressed, smiling, helpful face, assisting them with whom they may be there to see, escorting to the customer waiting area when necessary.
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple efficiently.
- Excellent time management capabilities to prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Background in hospitality or experience in customer service/retail/automotive settings preferred.
- Proficient in customer service practices with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to negotiate effectively and resolve conflicts amicably when necessary.
