Fort Garry Industries has an exciting opportunity for a Parts Supervisor to join our team at our Thunder Bay location.

What You Will Do:

• Support and assist the Branch Manager with aftermarket parts operations, sales and inventory by ensuring the counter sales team contributes to the highest level of customer service focus
• Actively engage to personally ensure excellent service to both internal and external customers regarding parts inquiries and orders
• Assist the Branch Manager by supporting operational results and goals, including supporting optimal stock levels, tracking inventory, and ensuring parts are readily available when needed
• Oversee warranty claims and assist with managing inventory overall, including annual inventory counts, transfers and oversold
• Ensure all in-store promotions and marketing initiatives are executed to FGI standards, including any required training on new products with staff
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, warehouse staff, and management
• Champion FGI's safety culture by performing all duties within established procedures and practices
• Other duties as assigned

What We Require:

• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience required in high-volume customer service industry, ideally in a similar industry (wholesale, automotive, or heavy-duty parts sales)
• Hands-on experience in sales, warranty claim processing, and inventory management is a must
• Heavy-duty parts knowledge or background is an asset
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (email, Word, Excel) and ability to learn in-house systems
• Exceptional problem-solving skills — you don’t just spot issues, you fix them fast.
• A team player with a no-excuses attitude — you do what it takes to get the job done right.
• Strong follow-up and accountability mindset — you don’t let issues slide.
• Excellent Customer Service skills – you exceed the expectations of internal and external customers
• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail — accuracy and documentation are essential to success in this role.
• Able to work various shifts, including Saturdays
• Must meet the physical requirements: Occasionally lift to 75 – 100lbs, frequent standing and walking, reading small print and numbers.
