We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team in a temporary capacity. This position is expected to last between 8 to 12 months, offering a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience and contribute meaningfully to our organization. Ideal for candidates looking to expand their professional portfolio or seeking transitional employment.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Use the Autodesk CAD or SolidWorks software to prepare engineering design & 3D models and drawings.
- Use Altium to create/modify electrical schematics, BOM and assembly drawings
- Be responsible for preparing and maintaining engineering design layouts, production drawings, and other related documentation create change actions/ECO in PLM tool like Enovia for legacy products
- Provide design support for product engineering groups through documentation updates.
- Support component obsolescence related activities– Assembly drawings, BOM & specification updates.
- Identify discrepancies and provide solution for future revision of documents.
- Occasional support of test and troubleshooting; helping lab technicians for field return related tasks.
YOU HAVE:
- Graduate from an accredited college program in Design Engineering Technology or CAD Technology
- 2+ years design/CAD experience
- 3D CAD modeling experience (with preference for SolidWorks) is a plus.
- Adobe Illustrator
- AutoCAD expertise
- Altium CAD experience (generation of schematics/BOM)
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with SAP and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software (with preference for Enovia) is a plus.
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Desire to be a contributing member of a strong and supportive team
