About the role
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst (BA) to join our team. The BA will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly understood, documented, and translated into effective solutions. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of business processes, technology, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and technical requirements through workshops, interviews, and other techniques
- Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and use cases
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Developers, QA, and business stakeholders
- Translate business needs into actionable user stories or requirements for implementation
- Participate in solution design and provide recommendations to enhance business processes
- Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) planning, execution, and defect tracking
- Support change management and training initiatives as needed
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, or Lucidchart
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies
Nice to Have
- CBAP, CCBA, or PMP certification
- Experience with data visualization or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Domain experience in [Finance / Healthcare / Retail / Government / etc.]
