Job Title: Operational Excellence Specialist Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Location: Mississauga, Ontario Work Environment: Hybrid (2-3 days per week at head office)
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Operational Excellence Specialist to join our team who will be pivotal in driving process improvements and efficiencies across BHCS branches. This individual will have a strong understanding of branch operations, particularly coordination and scheduling processes, and will work collaboratively with the Leadership, Transformation and Learning & Development Teams to support the identification and development of quality coordination and scheduling practices.
The incumbent with liaise with Area Directors and Client Service Managers (CSM) about branch operations and the opportunity for continuous improvement. By driving process improvements and fostering collaboration across branches, this role will directly contribute to the quality of care provided to our clients.
Duties & Responsibilities The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Identify, analyze, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness across BHCS branches while ensuring a positive client experience and improving employee satisfaction
- Collaborate with the Learning and Development, Project Management and Transformation Teams as well as leaders at branch level to understand their needs and ensure alignment with divisional and branch goals.
- Working with stakeholders, utilize data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and identify KPIs to measure the impact of implemented process improvements.
- Act as a subject matter expert in coordination, providing guidance and support to ensure effective collaboration and communication across BHCS and NSC functional divisions
Candidates Must Have
- Minimum 3-5 years of coordination experience within a health or home care setting
- Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, Office Administration or a related field, or equivalent scheduling experience
- Experience with change management and/or process improvement would be an asset
Candidate Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Operations Management, Office Administration or a related field, or equivalent scheduling experience.
- Must be willing to travel to branches and to the National Service Centre in Mississauga if required. Access to a car and a driver’s license is required.
- A Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) completed at their local municipal Police department.
