This is a remote position.
Job Duties
Vendor & Client Relations:
- Handle day-to-day communications on survey timing, deliverables, and invoices.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
Growth & Market Expansion:
- Spot new landfill / oil-&-gas prospects and get in the door.
- Shape high-impact campaigns (digital, trade shows, industry events).
Strategic Deals:
- Cut partnership and service agreements that move revenue.
- Lead contract negotiations and terms (pricing, and service agreements) with prospective clients and partners.
Field Operations:
- Ship, track, and clear drone gear across borders.
- Build survey schedules and keep surveys on-schedule.
- Coordinate with and help train contract pilots and data collectors.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Feed market intel to the tech lead; adjust roadmap together.
- Provide reports and performance indicators to leadership team, contributing to strategic planning sessions.
Requirements
- 3+ yrs blended operations and Business Development experience in fast-moving industrial, energy, or tech environments (startup a plus).
- Hands-on logistics experience (customs, shipping, carnets).
- Proven track record closing B2B deals and juggling many moving parts.
- Sharp communicator with ruthless prioritization, and comfort with Microsoft 365 / Confluence.
- Happy to handle everything from pricing strategy to labeling a battery box.
- Experience with software architecture, systems, and development is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday
