Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the implementation of  Microsoft Purview , with a focus on sensitivity labels and endpoint agents.

• Deploy, configure, and manage  security labels  across enterprise environments.

• Perform  data discovery  using tools such as BigID, Varonis, and Tanium.

• Collaborate on and build  Regex  (scripts/patterns/criteria) for data classification and discovery.

• Conduct  technical risk assessments  and communicate findings to both technical and business stakeholders.

• Work closely with business units to align data protection efforts with organizational objectives.

• Support change management initiatives related to data classification and protection.

• Partner with internal teams to ensure ongoing data security across multiple projects.

Must Have:

• Proven experience implementing  Microsoft Purview  including:

• Sensitivity labels

• Endpoint scanner and agent deployment

• Strong background in  data discovery  tools (e.g.,  BigID ,  Varonis ,  Tanium ,  Absolute )

• Hands-on experience building or modifying  Regex  (patterns/scripts for classification)

• Experience conducting and addressing  risk assessments , particularly using  NEST  methodology

• Ability to articulate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders

• Knowledge of  data protection  frameworks and best practices

• Experience with  change management  and stakeholder engagement

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

NiceToHave:

• Previous experience working in the  financial services industry

• Experience with  automation  in data security or classification workflows

• Exposure to  people management  within security or data governance teams
