The Oakville Golf Club is one of the oldest private clubs in the Greater Toronto Area, established in 1921. Nestled along the banks of Sixteen Mile Creek, in the heart of Oakville, the club has a wonderful setting. A strong membership guides the course with a vision set apart from other Toronto clubs. Long range planning is alive and well with a continued future goal of moving the course forward.

Position Available: Greens Worker-Gardener

Summary

• Seasonal part-time, April to October (variable)
• Maintains Gardens and surrounding areas.
• Monday to Friday mornings, 20-25 hrs. / week
• Wage: $20-$22/hr., depending on experience

Experience / Requirements

• Recognized education and / or related experience in horticulture
• Physically fit for outside work

Typical Tasks

• Annual Planting
• Daily deadheading and weeding of gardens
• Daily cleanup up of various hardscape areas
• Watering of container plantings
• Small landscape construction projects
• Assisting with golf course maintenance as necessary

Equipment Used

• Golf carts
• Various small hand tools
• Backpack blowers

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
