About the role

Pacific Truck, a Crane Carrier (Canada) Limited company, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager who will oversee sales activities for the Company in British Columbia market within their respective territory. This position will drive results within the territory, including wholesale locations, and work with other CCC departments to contribute to successful performance. With significant understanding of business operations, the Territory Sales Manager is an important member of the strategic and annual planning team for the specified area and has influence on the region-wide plans. In addition, this position is responsible for the growth of the territory through support of business development opportunities in existing and emerging markets. Analysis, development, and deployment of initiatives in the assigned locations are also required.

Territory Sales Manager Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for managing wholesale customers within a specific geographic territory.

  • Calls on upper management of wholesale businesses to promote CCC parts and service offering.

  • Forecasts and tracks territory sales goals and objectives.

  • Recommends and coordinates marketing and product training to the customer with the assistance of the Sales Manager, Product & Marketing Manager & Vendors.

  • Recommends Open House assistance and coordinates with CCC management & Vendors.

  • Reports information from his territory to the VP on competition activity, pricing, potential new customers, etc.

  • Support the implementation of approved corporate policies, practices, and procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Successful Territory Sales Manager Candidates Will Have:

  • Eight years of experience in operations or sales
  • Heavy duty truck parts knowledge/experience
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) i.e. Salesforce, etc.
  • Understand and utilize the principles of Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)
  • Excellent communication (oral & written)
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record (company vehicle provided)
