OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION
We are actively looking for a parttime, self-driven Warehouse Associate to join our team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our warehouse. You will be responsible for accurately picking and packing orders for major clients such as Amazon, Canadian Tire, and Costco, helping us maintain high standards of efficiency and customer
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Process outgoing shipments by carefully picking orders according to packing lists, packing products efficiently and following specific client requirements, labeling packages accurately, and loading shipments onto transportation trucks (approximately 75% of the role).
- Process returns
- Handle incoming shipments by unloading containers, counting and sorting inventory, organizing products within the warehouse, and updating inventory records
- Conduct weekly cycle counts and assist in resolving discrepancies
- Responsible for all lawn and garden maintenance
- Performs cleaning activates such as dusting, mopping, garbage collection etc.
Qualifications and Skills
- Physical strength required (must be able to lift 60lbs)
- Must be able to operate a forklift and have a valid driver license
- Must have high attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Napier is a seasonal business, with our peak period occurring during the summer months. Part-time hours will fluctuate based on demand, expect increased hours throughout the summer and significantly reduced hours during the winter season.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
